PremiereScan is an approved provider for most insurance carriers and health plans. We work with self-pay patients to create a financial plan that fits your budget Contact Us with an questions or concerns about billing.

We will submit your claim, and any secondary claims, to any insurance company under the benefit coverage you specify, including workers’ compensation, auto insurance, and personal injury. Ultimately, the patient is responsible for payment of the account, including any balance not covered by insurance. Once insurance has paid, you will receive a statement for your patient balance when applicable. If you believe your statement is incorrect, CONTACT US immediately. Contact your insurance company if they have not paid for your procedure within 30 days. After 30 days we will charge 1.5% interest on all outstanding balances.

Payment plans are available for self-paying patients who are unable to pay fees in full at the time of service. Before making your appointment, contact your insurance company or plan administrator to find out if your insurance requires preauthorization for your exam or referral from a physician.

Workers’ Compensation, automobile, or personal injury patients need the name and address of their attorney and or claim information to assist in the billing process. It is very helpful to obtain this information prior to coming to your appointment and bring it with you.

Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Allow one hour your exam. Scans usually take 30 to 45 minutes. Exams using contrast make take longer. Unless otherwise stated by your physician, there are no special preparation instructions for your exam. You can eat, drink and sleep as you normally do. Continue to take medications as prescribed.

One of our Certified CT or MRI Technologists will explain details about your exam, answer your questions, and then escort you to the dressing. It is very important that you do not wear clothing with metal buttons or zippers during your exam. If your clothing does have metal buttons or zippers we will provide you with shorts and a gown to change into. Remove all jewelry including earrings, bellybutton rings, piercings, watches, hair clips or any other metallic from your body. If you have large tattoos or wear makeup which contains metal oxides, these areas may become warm during your exam.

During your exam you will have constant contact with the technologist. The MRI machine warms up during the exam, and most people feel very relaxed. The exam process is smooth and easy. Before you know it you are done!

After your exam a PremiereScan radiologist will prepare a diagnostic report for your referring physician.

We understand that patients and physicians are anxious to obtain results of scheduled diagnostic procedures. We typically deliver our reports for most procedures with 24 hours of the exam.
